Pregnancy and Post-Natal Support
As parents ourselves, we understand how difficult it can be adjusting to pregnancy and parenthood. This is why we have developed a special interest in supporting new parents and parents to be in relation to all the issues that might arise during this sensitive period. These might include difficulties with conception, pregnancy loss, adjustment to parenthood, mental health issues, unexpected pregnancy and parenting skills.

5) Treatment for Post-natal depression and other Peri-natal mental health issues.
*Non-Directive Pregnancy Support Counselling:
Is a medicare initiative whereby Psychological services are provided through Medicare to a person who is currently pregnant or has been pregnant in the last 12 months (GP referral item #81000). Many GPs are not currently aware of this initiative and so it would be useful for you to direct them to this information.
